Why a limited edition of Calvados D Day?

On June 6, 1944, it was in Normandy that hope was reborn, that of putting an end to the Second World War and raising high the colors of newfound freedom... In jubilation, the Normans were happy to offer the glass of friendship to the brave soldiers. The allies discovered Calvados, a spirit of character obtained by distillation of apple cider. An alcohol marked with a Regulated Designation of Origin (A.O.R) since 1942 and already emblematic of Normandy…
To celebrate the Normandy Landings, two Manche companies, Éditions Nationale 13 (Saint-Lô) and the Théo Capelle cider house (Sotteville) are offering a limited edition of Calvados AOC. Powerful and generous, this spirit embodies the determination of these men who committed themselves to defending Freedom. Made from the best apples and distilled in the pure Normandy tradition, this Calvados is rich in flavors and history.

Why 335 bottles?

335 like the 335 days of sacrifices which made it possible to liberate Europe, from June 6, 1944 until the armistice on May 8, 1945.
